This year, our YR10 students will undertake their work experience on Monday 14^th July and Tuesday 15^th July 2025.  All students in year 10 are expected to attend both days for the full working day.

All students are expected to find their own placement preferably in an industry that they are interested in.  It is proven that meaningful encounters with businesses can impact positively on their decision making for their future as well as increase their aspirations.  We would really appreciate your support with this too.

Please do encourage your child to use the documents in the student support folder (found here: Student Support Documents) to independently contact businesses. The folder includes a template email, letter, and phone script. This is invaluable practice for your child to get the experience of applying for jobs.  The deadline for finding a placement is Friday 30^th May 2025 so that we can then follow up appropriately with businesses.
