On Thursday 23rd September you are welcomed to our Year 9 Curriculum Information Evening where you will have an to opportunity to listen to members of our senior team outline the following:

• Our curriculum offer - what subjects we teach and what students will learn
• Our curriculum implementation - our approach to teaching and learning
• Our assessment processes - how we monitor the progress of each student

To help restrict the number of people in the main hall, we have decided to split the evening and do two talks. The talks will last approximately 30 minutes and will take place at the following times:

• 5.30 - 6pm for parents of students who attended Scissett Middle School only
• 6.30- 7pm for parents of students who attended Kirkburton Middle School or all other feeder schools

Staff will meet you at the main school entrance/reception and point you in the direction of the main hall. If you are unable to attend, we will make the PowerPoint from the evening available on the school website.

 

Finally, to help us manage numbers attending the evening it is important to stress that students should not attend the evening and we would appreciate if only one parent per household attended where possible.
