Garden Competition

Shelley College took part in their first ever Garden Competition on Sunday 28th June at Beaumont Park. We won the Secondary school category and then went on to win the prestigious title of Best in Show receiving a £10 gift voucher from Armitages Garden Centre and £25 cash along with an impressive engraved Rotary Award. There were several schools represented from across Huddersfield. The design inspiration came from initial research carried out at RHS Harlow Carr, our commitment to Sustainable Development and we wanted a design that would appeal to young children.
